Frequently Asked Questions

As medical interns in the Medicine: The Incredible Human Body strand, scholars embark on a fascinating journey into the most complex of machines-the human body. Scholars will examine aspects of human and animal anatomy, including the circulatory, muscular, respiratory and digestive systems, while exploring the links between them. Scholars will examine complex internal reactions, such as digestion and osmosis, to gain a stronger understanding of the cause and effect relationships evident in our anatomical systems. The journey culminates with scholars examining the needs of a patient and presenting an original plan of care.

(This strand is offered to 4th & 5th graders only)
