The National Young Scholars Program (NYSP) is an interactive and challenging program that unleashes the learning potential within the nation's most promising young scholars.
Students select the Discovery Strand in which they want to participate and are also presented with the Leadership Strand. Strands are developed and designed as fully interactive adventures which take our young scholars far beyond the typical classroom experience and invigorate the natural curiosity that is the gift of childhood.
NYSP offers the six-day residential program which includes overnight accommodations, all meals and 24-hour supervision, or the day-only program, depending on location.
The Program's curriculum was developed by highly-qualified professional educators who for over twenty years have taught, mentored and guided high achieving students of all ages. Dr. Marguerite Regan, a former high school teacher and social science department chairperson currently develops NYSP's innovative educational curricula and programs. Under Dr. Regan's direction, the curriculum provides a unique approach to leadership training.
